We had a lovely evening with Maider last night. She was a very enthusiastic guide and took us to wonderful places with amazing food. We had such an enjoyable evening and wished we would have taken this tour on our first night in San Sebastián as there were many places we would have liked to go back to but sadly are leaving town.

Review: Above and Beyond
The whole experience was outstanding and completely exceeded all expectations! Our guide, Javier, had a wealth of knowledge that he was kind enough to share with the group. He taught us a plethora of interesting facts about the history, culture and cuisine of San Sebastián. He provided us with the optimum experience by choosing the best dish on each menu along the way. Every location had a different vibe and they were all wonderful - we would never have discovered these gems if it weren't for this experience. The food was sensational, the wine was delicious and I couldn't recommend this tour enough. It was a perfect way to explore the city and get stuck into all that San Sebastián has to offer. If you’re looking for a food tour that takes you off the beaten track, then this Secret Food Tour is for you. We visited unique and well chosen places and tried delicious food and drinks. Highlights for us were the fresh oysters and the tortilla.
Meeting our guide Maider put us at ease straight away as she was extremely friendly and very sociable. Her knowledge and passion for the Basque Country and San Sebastián is delivered enthusiastically from start to the finish of the tour.

Our local tour guide, Maider, was a delight. We walked a short distance, learning much about San Sebastian and enjoying wonderful food and wine.
It was clear that Maider not only loves San Sebastian but also loves sharing her knowledge of this magical place. We can't wait to come back and look forward to another Secret Food Tour!
