By the end of your adventure, you'll depart with a satisfied palate, insider knowledge of the local scene, and valuable sightseeing tips. Our mission is to create an unforgettable culinary experience that enriches your time in Lima.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>By the tour's end, you'll have savored some of Lima's most mouthwatering delicacies while gaining a deeper appreciation for our culture and history.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>All the food will be served with quality drinks or if you prefer, non-alcoholic beverages. First, we'll take you to a historic coffee shop for some organic coffee and a sweet treat.

After that, we'll try ceviche with avocado, a must eat in Lima. Paired with a fresh tropical juice. In a classic "huarique" (small, local eatery that serves traditional Peruvian food)

You'll sample causa rellena, a dish made from chili, avocado, lemon, shrimp, and mashed potato with a tartar sauce.

We'll finish with a homemade artisan gelato made from exotic fruits

As with all our tours, there's our delicious Secret Dish.

What you'll taste

<p style="text-align:justify;">Barranco, originally founded by Spanish settlers, earned the nickname "City of Windmills" due to their use of windmills to draw water from wells. Over time, the district flourished, with affluent residents constructing elegant colonial summer residences where they enjoyed the waterfront and scenic views. Beautiful parks and open spaces were developed, adding to the charm of one of Lima's most romantic and historic areas.<br><br>In the early 20th century, Barranco evolved into a bohemian enclave with an influx of artists, poets, and musicians, a vibrant spirit that endures to this day.<br><br>Today, this unique neighborhood is adorned with historic homes, bohemian bars, art galleries, and local restaurants, offering visitors a vibrant connection to our living culture and tradition.</p>

The pisco sour is a wonderful cocktail created in Peru. Peru is the birthplace of the grape brandy pisco, named after the Peruvian coastal town of Pisco. The pisco sour is made out of pisco, egg whites, bitters, lime juice, and sugar syrup.

Pisco Sour

Made with pisco (or sometimes bourbon) and ginger ale, with a long spiral of lemon peel draped over the edge of an 'old-fashioned' or highball glass.
