<p>On our Secret Food Tour: Atlanta, you'll discover a city of the future with strong ties to its past.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Our experienced guides will welcome you on a delicious journey through the capital of the South, where you’ll see firsthand why we’re known for being the epitome of true Southern hospitality. After all, this is the home of Coca-Cola, the Braves, and some of the best darn food you’ll ever put in your mouth! Seriously, our cuisine feels like a warm hug for the soul (that’s why we call it soul food!) and we cannot wait to share it with you. From down south specialties like chicken and waffles to international delights like yucca fries, we’ve got a little something for everyone, so come on in, set a spell, and get ready to dig in while we share some stories of "The City Too Busy To Hate."</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Food will be served with water when available. Or if you prefer, a thoughtfully curated <a href="/atlanta/upgraded-drinks-package/">Upgraded Drinks Package</a> is available for purchase.</p>

We'll begin in front of The Grand Old Lady of Peachtree, the storied hotel where the cast and crew of "Gone With the Wind" stayed when the film premiered across the street at the Fox Theatre in 1939.

For our first Southern bite, you'll venture as far South as possible to South America and savor Uruguayan specialties at a beloved cafe whose name translates to "The Local Vineyard."

At our next stop, your guide will take you to Portugal, where you'll discover our delicious Secret Dish their national flaky and creamy snack.

On our walk, you'll see legendary local monuments such as the Federal Reserve Bank and the Margaret Mitchell House and hear stories about how Mitchell wrote The Great American Novel.

Of course, no visit to Atlanta would be complete without devouring a generous serving of that Southern delicacy known as chicken and waffles, featured here with tangy lemon pepper and sweet Georgia peaches.

And finally, no matter how hot or humid it gets outside, you'll be the coolest kid on the block as you indulge in a refreshing gourmet popsicle handcrafted by a pair of local brother entrepreneurs.
